It Happened Today
Independence Day celebrates the birthday of the United States of America. Founded July 4th 1776, with the signing of the Declaration of Independence at the Second Continental Congress meeting in Philadelphia, PA.

Teaching Tip
Have an up to date class roster near the door in case of a fire drill or other emergency evacuation.

Technology Tip
When using movies, videos or television programs with your students' preview the material and if feasible make a study sheet for the students to follow along on. This will keep them focused on the instructional material.
