Phil's Place Privacy Policy

I am very concerned about the protection of online privacy for all of my web site visitors. Although the total number of visitors to my site is tracked in the server logs, personally identifiable information can not be extracted from these logs. Any use of cookies, a small file on a visitor's computer, will only be used to track non-personal information to improve your experience at the site. In other words, I have no idea who you are unless you tell me.

I only collect personally identifiable data, such as names, E-mail addresses, and similar information, when voluntarily submitted by a visitor through response forms. I do not sell or release any information gathered from my web site to any third parties; all information gathered online will be used only by myself to improve the quality of my web site. Once this information has been used it is discarded. After I respond to your E-mail message, I delete it. Information submitted is subject to verification whenever possible. Meaning broken links are investigated and/or other problems resolved in response to your message.

Under certain circumstances, when a visitor has indicated that they would like to receive communication from me, I will contact the visitor individually by way of an E-mail message. This may be in the form of a message from myself or from the update mailing list.

The information contained in the Pennsylvania School District database is considered to be in the public domain since these districts are public school districts. In addition to my database there are several other sources of this information readily available on the Internet. The information contained within the database is believed to be accurate, however errors and omissions may exist.

I reserve the right to change this policy at any time as needs dictate. I will notify guests of the existence of a new privacy policy by a posting on the What's New page.
